Complete the Student Emergency Fund Request Form and submit it to finaid@nlc.bc.ca. If you are an Indigenous learner, please complete the Indigenous Emergency Assistance Fund Request Form, and submit it to your local Aboriginal Advisor. Simply:

We’ll review your application and figure out what grants are available to you as quickly as we can.

Please note, we will reply to every Request submitted within two business days. If you don’t hear from us, please phone us: 1-866-463-6652 and ask for Financial Aid.

Q. I don’t have a printer, can I fill the Request Form out and send it without printing?
A. Yes

Q. How much will I get?
A. Every student is different, so we can only answer that once you apply.

Q. I'm not currently enrolled. Can I get emergency funding?
A. Yes; however, you must have been enrolled within the past 6 months at NLC. Graduates are not eligible for emergency assistance funding.

Q. Can I reapply if I have already received this emergency assistance?
A. Yes, you can reapply 30 days after your last application.
